Temperature
Sansevieria is a cold-tolerant plant, but it must be kept indoors over the winter.
After the final frost, if the weather in your area isn’t too harsh, you can take them outside and put them in a partially sunny spot. A snake plant can be left outside all year long if the winters are mild where you live.
Soil
Soil-based or ready-to-use potting mixes are both options. Compost and manure would supply nutrients to your plants while also fostering the growth of microorganisms in the soil!
