I’m not big on diets. I make or eat recipes that appeal to me. Simply put, it can be too difficult otherwise. However, there are times when you want to lose a few pounds quickly or do a detox. This Detox Cabbage Soup Diet Recipe is ideal for those occasions.

It’s important to note that eating only this soup for a long time is not a good idea for your health. You may be lacking in other essential nutrients or not getting enough calories. Always consult a doctor before embarking on a drastic course of action, just in case.

HOW TO MAKE THE ORIGINAL DETOX CABBAGE RECIPE FOR SOUP DIET?

Cook the onions, celery, and peppers in a large pot with some oil over medium-high heat. Cook until the onions, celery, and peppers are translucent and soft.

Add garlic – Cook until the garlic is fragrant, then add the remaining spices.

Add the remaining ingredients – Cook until the cabbage is tender, then add the stock, cabbage, and tomatoes. This should take approximately 10-15 minutes.
