Facts about Poinsettias!
This is a popular plant all year round, but it really takes off around the holidays when some of its leaves become a vibrant crimson and others remain green. The leaves are used for so many things, including making homemade Christmas decorations.
The milky sap of the plant, not the leaves, poses the greatest threat. There are poisons in the sap that are harmful to both people and animals. Two reported deaths have been attributed to accidental ingestion of Poinsettia sap.
