Baking Soda
Baking soda has several purposes around the house, including removing black mold, and absorbing aromas in the fridge and soothing indigestion. It’s safe for your family and pets, because it not only destroys black mold, but it also absorbs moisture that encourages mold.
Put a quarter of a tablespoon of baking soda into a spray bottle of water and mix thoroughly until the baking soda is dissolved. Scrub the moldy area with a brush after spraying it with the baking soda and water solution. The next step is to rinse the area with water to remove the baking soda and any remaining residue. The final step is to spray the area once more and then leave it to dry without wiping. This will eliminate any lingering mold and help prevent its return.
If you want to get rid of stubborn black mold, use two parts baking soda, one part white vinegar, and one part water. Make a thick paste by stirring the ingredients together. Apply the mixture generously to the surface and wait for it to dry. Scrub away the black mold and spots, and wipe down with water.
