John Travolta Explores Japan with Family and Friends
John Travolta, the renowned actor, recently shared highlights from his summer vacation in Japan on Instagram. The trip included sightseeing, amusement parks, and a personalized ‘Travolta World Airlines’ itinerary.
“Here’s our Summer trip to Japan,” Travolta, 69, captioned the Reel, which featured his 12-year-old son Ben and 23-year-old daughter Ella.
The video began with an exhibition showcasing colorful floating feathers, followed by scenes inside an airplane, including a box of red roses. The Reel then showed the family sightseeing in Japan, with John capturing photos from a lookout in a tall building they visited.
Travolta, his son, and their friends enjoyed a dinner together, followed by a toast with champagne glasses on a plane. The Reel also zoomed in on a leaflet for the trip, featuring ‘Japan fly Travolta World Airlines’ on the cover.
The Reel continued with a timelapse video of Japan’s skyline transitioning from day to night, followed by scenes of the city during the day. Travolta’s son, Ben, was shown at an owl-handling experience, petting and holding the animal. The group also explored Japan via train, capturing moments before and during the train ride. John sweetly sang “Come on Barbie, let’s go party, do-do-do” while toasting the camera during the journey.
Next, the vacation gang visited a zoo, an amusement park, and admired traditional Japanese architecture. They also attended a cool art exhibition. Later, they enjoyed a meal at a traditional Japanese restaurant, embarked on adventures on a bus and at a water park, and took another plane ride to explore a different area of the Japanese countryside. Travolta’s daughter Ella entertained herself during this leg of the journey with a table of board games.
The video concluded with a view from inside an airplane, showcasing clouds passing over fields below.
“Only the amazing John Travolta could come up with something so wonderful and beautiful to do with his amazing family,” one fan commented on the video. Another fan wrote, “What an amazing experience ??”
Travolta shares his children, Ben and Ella, with his late wife Kelly Preston, who passed away from breast cancer at age 57 in July 2020. The couple also had a son named Jett, who tragically died at age 16 in 2009.
Prior to their summer retreat, Travolta shared a photo on Instagram with his two children on Father’s Day.
“Happy Father’s Day to all the dedicated fathers,” the Grease star wrote alongside the family photo.
Ella also expressed her love for her dad in a sweet caption accompanying the same group photo on her Instagram.
“Happy Father’s Day, Daddy ❤️ Thank you for being the best father and for all the love and light you bring to the world,” she wrote. “I love you to the moon and back.?❤️”
