Ceramic tiles
Ceramic tiles on the floor, walls, or backsplash can be stained easily if spills and grime aren’t removed as soon as they happen. Don’t reach for the vinegar when you’re in a hurry to clean up a spill; instead, grab the hot water and the mild dish soap. Vinegar may be able to withstand most tiles, but it will eat away at the grout and ruin the finish on tiles. The best way to determine if a certain soap or detergent is safe to use on tile is to check the manufacturer’s recommendations.
